Boston Principal Fellows seeks applicants who are:

• Committed to working in the Boston Public Schools
• Experienced in teaching, youth development or management (a minimum of 3-5 years)
• Experienced as a successful leader with real-world experience
• Committed to high quality instruction for all students
• Interested in and believe in learning through practice and study
• Prepared for immersion in an intense yearlong learning experience followed by a leadership role in the Boston Public Schools

Admissions Process and Timeline

The Boston Principal Fellowship admissions process has three components: a written application, a performance assessment for semi-finalists, and an interview for finalists. Screening teams of principals, teacher leaders, higher education faculty, and Boston Public Schools central administrators will be involved in each step of the screening process.
