Preparing Non-Principal Administrators to Foster Whole-School Improvement in Boston

In June 2005, the Boston School Leadership Institute released a report about the job responsibilities, career aspirations, and professional development needs of assistant principals, assistant headmasters, directors of instruction, program directors, and other non-principal administrators in the Boston Public Schools.

This report was commissioned in January 2005 by the Massachusetts Department of Education's State Action for Educational Leadership Project. Funding was provided by the Wallace Foundation.
